Mark Ramsden - New Chair of Liberal Democrat Youth and Students in England

Stafford Liberal Democrat Mark Ramsden has been elected Chair of the Liberal Democrat Youth and Students (LDYS) in England. Mark currently sits on the West Midlands Regional Executive and is also Chair of the West Midlands Youth and Students.

Mark said upon his appointment "LDYS branches and regions have been growing at a phenomenal rate this last year, and I am keen to keep this momentum going through local campaigning and events relevant to young people. The Liberal Democrats have a firm commitment to encouraging people to get involve in the decision making process at every level from the local to the international. LDYS England is yet another example of our practising what we preach, providing a strong voice for the young people and students of England."
