Liberal Democrats end the first week of campiagning up 7% in the polls5.00.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Sat 9th Apr 2005
The Liberal Democrats are the winners of the first week of campaigning. The average Liberal Democrat share of vote stands at 20%. This shows a big increase of 7% compared to 13% at the first weekend of the last General Election. The Polls so far: Mori/Observer/Mirror 'Certains' Lab 40% Cons 33% LD 19%. ICM/Tele Lab 38% Cons 34% LD 20%. YouGov/Times Lab 37% Cons 35% LD 21%. BPIX/ Mail Lab 37% Cons 34% LD 22%.
