Liberal Democrats up 6.5% on 2001

The Liberal Democrats are up 6.5% on 2001 with an average of 22% in the five polls published today compared with the four on the last Sunday in 2001.

The Labour Party are on 37% (down 10% since 2001) and the Conservatives are on 32% (up 1% on 2001). A poll by ICM shows that, if people think the Lib Dems could win in their constituency, 39% would vote for it, with 31% backing Labour and 26% backing the Tories.
