KEETCH APPOINTMENT TO FOREIGN AFFAIRS SELECT COMMITTEE CONFIRMED10.48.56am BST (GMT +0100) Sun 17th Jul 2005
Paul Keetch, Liberal Democrat MP for Hereford, was officially appointed to the prestigious Foreign Affairs Select Committee [FAC] when membership was announced on Wednesday 13 July in the House of Commons. "I feel extremely proud and privileged to be a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee," Mr Keetch said. "My experience as the Liberal Democrat Shadow Defence Secretary has been valuable and will prove beneficial in my role now on the FAC. "I very much look forward to working with my fellow members on this prestigious Committee," Mr Keetch added.
