Aston and Bordesley Green wards of Birmingham City Council.

Yesterday saw the re-runs of the 2004 Local Elections in the Aston and Bordesley Green wards of Birmingham City Council. The re-runs were required after Labour were found guilty of vote-fraud earlier this year. The Liberal Democrats won the three Aston Seats and the PJP two and Labour one of the Bordesley Green seats. Well done to everyone that helped. Full results are below.

Ayoub Khan - Liberal Democrat - 2,081 votes

Abdul Aziz -Liberal Democrat - 2,044 votes

Abdul Khalique - Liberal Democrat - 1,905 votes

Ziaul Islam - Labour - 1,896 votes

Tony Kennedy - Labour - 1,843 votes

Changese Khan - Labour - 1,578 votes

Raja Iqbal - Conservative - 282 votes

Anna Dunstan - Green - 182 votes

David Masinda -Conservative - 166 votes

Mohamed Mushtaq - Conservative -148 votes

Three Liberal Democrats elected
