Guantanamo detainees entitled to due process - Campbell

10.19.34pm BST (GMT +0100) Wed 21st Jun 2006

Commenting on President Bush's statement at the EU-US Summit in Vienna today, Liberal Democrat Leader Sir Menzies Campbell said "For too long we have lived by association with the shame of this prison camp which violates all known legal principles, but is dismissed as only an anomaly by the Prime Minister. Those who are detained should either be given a fair trial or be released."
