Prisoners held in Guantanamo Bay

The West Midlands Liberal Democrats MP, Paul Keetch, has returned from a visit to Washington and Guantanamo Bay.

Paul Keetch was one of seven members of the Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee invited by the US Government to view the detention facility.

Mr Keetch and colleagues had two days of briefing from the US administration prior to the visit to the base on Wednesday 20 September. On Thursday 21st Mr Keetch and colleagues met with the International Committee of The Red Cross, the British Ambassador Sir David Manning and senior members of the US Senate.
