BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION SUPPORTED BY MP AND CONSTITUENT12.41.00pm GMT Wed 21st Nov 2007
When Paul Keetch, MP for Hereford, met with Tony Pitt, one of his constituents from Weston-under-Penyard, recently they had one thing in common - promoting and supporting the work of the British Heart Foundation [BHF], both having been cardiac patients in recent times. "It was a pleasure meeting Tony and acknowledging his great achievement of walking some 120 miles across Nicaragua to raise funds for the BHF," said Mr Keetch. "I was happy to give him my donation which went towards the £1200 he raised in total. Quite a remarkable achievement proving to Tony and others that is possible to fully recover from a heart attack. Tony's a role model for us all to follow."
