With news that two UK military personnel had been killed and two seriously injured in an RAF Puma helicopter crash near Baghdad, Paul Keetch MP asked the Prime Minister at his Question Time today why, given the age of the Puma helicopters still in use, had the Chinooks previously ordered never been brought into service?

"I was surprised that the Prime Minister appeared totally unfamiliar with the Chinooks and failed to answer my question," the MP said.

"I have tabled further questions and will continue to press for answers to this unsatisfactory situation."
