Housing Action Group To Meet Leader

Richard Burt along with leading members of South Worcestershire Housing Action Group (SWHAG) from Malvern, Kempsey, Broadheath and Hallow will meet the leader of Malvern Hills District Council to discuss the Regional Spatial Strategy and South Worcestershire Joint Core Strategy (SWJCS) plans for mass housing across the district.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 11th of November to raise concerns over SWJCS proposals to accommodate mass housing in South Worcestershire.

SWHAG have produced an alternative vision for housing development in South Worcestershire that has been forwarded to every member of the Malvern Hills District Council. The SWHAG document proposes less than half the numbers of the current plan; around 11000 as opposed to 25000 houses locally by 2024.
