The exercises, which are held throughout the week across Solihull, help those suffering from the effects of osteoporosis by increasing their flexibility as weight-bearing exercise is important, not just for a sense of well-being, but to help build bone density and help avoid bone injuries in the future.
"The exercises, while being very light, left me with a feeling of much more flexibility. I can see how much this must help those with osteoporosis".
"The instructor, Julie Walker, makes the exercise flexible enough for sufferers with the most limited movement but challenging for those who are quite fit. The backs of my legs certainly knew about it by the end of the session!"
"It was a great event and everyone there was enjoying themselves, I am glad to see that the group offers so many classes and I look forward to attending again in the near future."
"I encourage anyone who wishes to attend a free exercise session or learn more about osteoporosis and the group to contact Julie Thomas, Chair of the Osteoporosis Support Group"
